Mark your calendars for an exciting event hosted by the WashU Center for Diversity and Inclusion and RSVP Center!
Queering Sexual Violence is a best-selling anthology which elevates narratives of marginalized survivors and highlights the anti-violence work being done in queer communities.
On April 20th at 7pm in the DUC Goldberg Formal Lounge, we will be joined by the book’s editor Jennifer Patterson, activist and contributor Aishah Shahidah Simmons, and Tonya Edmond, Dean of Diversity for the Brown School of Social Work and longtime advocate for queer IPV survivors. See the attached flyer for more information about a special reception preceding the panel and book signing at its conclusion!
Get involved! As we develop questions for panelists, we wish to elevate student voices and needs. Visit http://tinyurl.com/QSVpanel and submit your own questions for the panel by Friday, April 7th.
If you have any questions or comments, don’t hesitate to reach out. We hope to see you there!
