The MWMS project collaborators will get together to share initial research discoveries and written drafts, explore common insights and questions, and consider emergent project-level ideas and arguments that will be relevant to the book publication. Contributors will also engage with students enrolled in the “Material World of Modern Segregation” course (students will participate in a few of the Friday sessions).
We encourage you to visit the project’s website to learn more about the project’s sites, approaches, and contributors: http://amcs.wustl.edu/MWMS/
The Friday morning April 21 plenary and morning and early afternoon panels (9:00-12:15; 1:15-2:30) will be open to project contributors, partners and invited guests, students from the MWMS course, AMCS/Olin Library project collaborators, and to the Washington University community.
Supported by the Ferguson Academic Seed Fund and the American Culture Studies Program, Washington University in St. Louis.
