#DataRescueWU is an opportunity for programmers, scientists, archivists, activists, and volunteers of all kinds to identify, back-up, and help preserve publicly accessible federal data resources. Training is provided — all skillsets invited! Join us for few hours or even a whole day of civic technology and citizen archiving at a time when scientific research in the public interest is increasingly at risk. This event is hosted by Washington University Libraries and is free and open to the Washington University community. We will have some computers available, but please bring your own laptop if you have one AND it has Chrome as a browser.
Breakfast, lunch, and snacks provided. Registration is now open. Please register AM, PM or both. Event website: https://datarescuewu.github.io/ (Click the “Register” link in the “Join” tab to register.)
