Family Day at the WashU Rec Center

March 18, 2017, 11:00 am  – 3:00 pm, Sumers Recreation CenterThe Rec Center on campus is hosting a Family Day. (The Center is generally closed to dependents under the age of 18, but the facility will be open to minors on special Family Days). Free admission to dependents of all Sumers Rec Members. All full-time, fee-paying students automatically have membership for free (http://rec.wustl.edu/member-services/Memberships/index), but if you’re not sure, you can call them up, and they’ll let you know if you qualify for a free membership or not.

Graduate Professional Council Officer Elections – NOW OPEN

It is time for GPC officer elections for the 2017-2018 academic year. If you have an interest in running for one of our officer positions please submit your intent to run by March 31st. Elections will be held on April 4th during the general body meeting (6:30pm – 8:30pm). All officers are required to attend the Graduate Group Officer Transition meeting scheduled for May 3, 2017 from 5:00 to 6:30 pm in the Liberman Center.

Liberman Leadership Award Nominations – NOW OPEN!

This year’s Liberman Leadership Awards will be held on April 12, from 4-6 pm in Umrath Lounge

We are seeking nominations! Nominations  are open to all graduate and professional students and student groups at the university, and may submitted by anyone at the university (students, faculty, and staff) starting February 20, 2017.   Nomination deadline is March 19, 2017.

We are seeking nominations for the following awards: Excellence in Sustainability Award, Excellence in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Award, Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion Award, Excellence in Creating Community Award, Trailblazer Award, Tried and True Award, Outstanding Breakthrough Award, Distinguished Organization Award, Rising Star Award (Individual Award), Distinguished Individual Leader Award (Individual Award)
