: Debate Weekend & Media on Campus

October 7, 2016

Hello Graduate and Professional Students!

Welcome to Debate Weekend! As you may have noticed, there are many media arriving on campus and setting up shop here on the Danforth Campus. Throughout the next few days you will have an opportunity to interact with them! Below is an infographic providing times and places that would be best for viewing and interacting with these media! (More information available at debate.wustl.edu)

As you are interacting with the media, don’t forget to enjoy and join in on other events happening. On Debate Day there are two main events: Debate Fair and Debate Watch. Debate Fair will play host to Life-size Rock ’em Sock ’em Robots (with the candidates faces, of course) and Clementine’s Ice Cream Truck as well as providing a space to engage with substantive issues around the debate and election. The Graduate Student Debate Watch Party in Holmes will be a space to engage with graduate students  about issues, enjoy a panel and viewing the debate, and have some delicious food and drinks.

If you want more information about any of these events or other events we recommend debate.wustl.edu and washuvotes.wustl.edu. These are also important resources for knowing the best way to get where you need to go on campuses this weekend!

Take a moment to engage and enjoy. We look forward to seeing you around!
