: CSSA Lunar New Year Celebration – Sunday Feb 5th – ALL ARE WELCOME!

January 31, 2017

Hello fellow graduate & professional students,

This weekend the first international cultural event supported by Graduate Professional Council’s Cultural and Diversity Connections Grant, will take place:

Greetings from the Chinese Student and Scholars Association (CSSA)!

The CSSA will be holding a Lunar New Year Celebration on Sunday, February 5. The Jiangxi Province Art group from China will provide performances, including the Chinese flute, acrobatics, dances and so on. Jiangxi Province is in the middle-south of China just like Missouri. This delegation is a Province level group (state level group in US), which includes two National level artists. The performances will promote Chinese cultures and customs.

It would be our great pleasure and honor if you can join us for the event and celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year with all the Chinese, international, and domestic students at WUSTL. The event will be held at College Hall (near the Bear’s Den in the South 40) from 2-4PM. We will serve drinks and delicious snacks. This event is partly supported by Consulate-General of P.R.C. in Chicago and the Graduate Professional Council.

Also, we will hold our annual celebration for Lunar New Year in Graham Chapel on February 12th. (More details to follow)

Please note: the celebrations will be presentated both in Chinese and English – ALL ARE WELCOME!

Please email washu.cssa@gmail.com if you have any questions or concerns.

Yours Sincerely,
