RELAY FOR LIFE 2011, Washington University in St. Louis
March 5, 2011 – 6:00pm to March 6, 2011 – 6:00am
“The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life gives communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. Washington University in St. Louis has consistently been one of the top collegiate Relays in the country. At the event, teams of people camp out on Francis Field and take turns walking around the track. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. The night of the event is filled with ceremonies, guest speakers, live entertainment, fun activities, and free food from local businesses. Because cancer never sleeps, Relay is an overnight event from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.”
