Capoeira Class at Washington University is a fun way to learn movements, exercise, music and meet new people. Classes are given at a very basic introductory level and everyone is welcome to come try out a class and see what its all about!
Jesse, a Social Work Student at GWB and a Capoeira Student of Mestre Pe de Chumbo, teaches classes at Washington University. He has 8 years of experience with the African Brazilian art form and 3 years experience teaching. In 2009 Jesse was graduated by Mestre Pe de Chmbo as a Trenel.
Capoeira classes at Wash U are welcoming, fun and relaxed. Classes are offered every Monday and Thursday this semester at 6:15. Please come dressed in long pants, sneakers and a T shirt.
